NCT ID NCT07545876

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how common pneumococcal bacteria are in the noses of healthy or mildly sick children under 5 in Malaysia, after the introduction of vaccines. Researchers will collect a quick nose swab from 600 children and ask parents about vaccination history. The goal is to understand which bacteria types are circulating and whether they resist antibiotics, helping guide future vaccine and treatment strategies.
