NCT ID NCT06638333

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how common pneumococcus bacteria are in the noses and throats of healthy Vietnamese children aged 6 months to 5 years. Researchers will take a simple swab and interview parents about factors like vaccination history, antibiotic use, and living environment. The goal is to understand which bacterial types are circulating and what risks might increase carriage, which can inform future vaccine policies.
