Can jump training boost young martial Artists' skills?

NCT ID NCT07351539

Summary

This study aimed to see if adding a specific type of jump training, called plyometrics, to regular practice could improve balance, body awareness, and explosive power in young taekwondo athletes. Twenty healthy athletes aged 15-18 were split into two groups: one did the jump training three times a week for eight weeks, while the other stuck to their normal routine. Researchers measured their balance, knee joint sense, and jumping ability before and after to compare results.
