First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding jumping exercises early in rehab helps people with Achilles, patellar, or plantar fascia tendon pain recover better than standard strength training. 120 active adults aged 18-50 will do either early plyometrics plus strength training or strength training alone for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure jump function, pain, and re-injury rates over a year.
