Summary
This study followed 42 sprinters to see if doing plyometric (jumping) exercises at least twice a week during the winter preseason improved their race times and reduced leg injuries. Participants reported their best race times and any leg problems online. The goal was to find out if this type of training helps performance and keeps athletes healthier during the winter season.
