First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests two methods of delivering Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) to treat atrophic acne scars. In 24 adults, one side of the face gets PLLA threads in a single session, while the other side gets two sessions of injectable PLLA. Researchers will compare scar improvement and safety over 3 months.
