New pill aims to fight frailty in aging adults
NCT ID NCT07390552
Summary
This study is testing an oral medication called PLH-2301 to see if it can improve strength and physical function in older adults with sarcopenia, a condition of age-related muscle loss. About 168 participants aged 65 and older will take either the medication or a placebo pill daily for 12 weeks. The main goal is to see if the treatment helps people perform daily physical tasks better compared to a placebo.
