Natural supplement tested to tame chronic sinus troubles
NCT ID NCT07460934
Summary
This study tested whether adding a dietary supplement called Imunoglukan P4H® (pleuran) to standard sinus treatments could help people with chronic sinusitis. It involved 85 newly diagnosed teens and adults without nasal polyps. Researchers wanted to see if the supplement could reduce sinus flare-ups, respiratory infections, and the need for antibiotics or nasal sprays over a year.
