Learning through play: could nasal hygiene games cut Kids' colds?
NCT ID NCT07654673
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a play-based education program can improve nasal hygiene knowledge and skills in preschool children. The program uses games, animations, and practice stations to teach kids how to clean their noses properly. Researchers will measure changes in children's knowledge, nasal air pressure, airflow, and hygiene skills, as well as parent-reported independence. The goal is to see if this fun approach can help prevent respiratory infections by promoting good nasal hygiene habits early in life.

What this could lead to
If effective, this program could offer a simple, fun way to teach young children nasal hygiene habits that may reduce respiratory infections.
