Blood test could replace risky biopsies for kidney transplant patients

NCT ID NCT07275541

Summary

This study is exploring whether a simple blood test can detect kidney transplant rejection. Researchers will measure platelet activity in the blood of 60 transplant recipients and compare it to biopsy results. The goal is to find a less invasive way to monitor for rejection without needing frequent tissue samples.
