First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tested whether two substances made from a patient's own blood (platelet-rich plasma and concentrated growth factor) can reduce pain, swelling, and dry socket after wisdom tooth removal. 42 adults with impacted wisdom teeth took part. The goal was to see if applying these substances to the extraction site improves healing compared to standard care.
