NCT ID NCT06332352
First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tested whether an injection of platelet-rich plasma (a concentrated part of your own blood) can reduce pain and improve hip function in people with a torn hip labrum. Thirty adults aged 18 to 49 who had not improved with other treatments received the injection and were followed for one year. The goal was to see if this simple procedure could offer lasting relief without surgery.
