Your own blood tested as sciatica treatment

NCT ID NCT06924853

Summary

This study aimed to see if an epidural injection made from a patient's own processed blood (platelet lysate) works better than a simple saline injection for relieving sciatica pain. Adults with persistent leg pain from a pinched nerve in the lower back were randomly assigned to receive one injection type. The main goal was to compare changes in leg pain levels between the two groups over three months.
