Own blood used to speed up wisdom tooth recovery
NCT ID NCT07351279
Summary
This study is testing if a gel made from a patient's own blood platelets can improve healing after impacted wisdom tooth surgery. Researchers will compare the gel against normal healing to see if it reduces gum pocket depth and tooth sensitivity on the neighboring tooth. The goal is to find a simple way to make recovery more comfortable and protect long-term gum health.
