Cold plasma zaps surgical wounds for faster recovery

NCT ID NCT07382973

Summary

This study is testing whether a special cold plasma treatment can help surgical wounds heal faster and with less pain after thyroid removal surgery. Researchers will compare patients who receive the plasma treatment during surgery against those who receive standard wound care. The goal is to see if this approach reduces pain, speeds up healing, and improves scar appearance over 12 weeks of follow-up.
