First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving plasma as soon as possible to adults with severe burns (covering at least 20% of the body) can reduce death or long-term organ damage. About 750 patients will be randomly assigned to early plasma or standard care. The goal is to see if this simple change in hospital practice improves outcomes.
