First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether using ultrasound to guide a steroid injection into the foot works better than the standard method of feeling for the spot. About 62 adults with plantar fasciitis (heel pain) will get one of the two injection types. Researchers will measure pain relief and foot function for up to 3 months after the shot.
