Protein puzzle: which type helps PCOS symptoms after eating?
NCT ID NCT07142603
Summary
This study aims to understand how meals with plant-based protein (like from beans or nuts) compare to meals with animal-based protein (like from meat or eggs) in women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Researchers will measure how each type of meal affects blood sugar, insulin levels, and feelings of hunger over several hours. The findings could help provide clearer dietary guidance for managing PCOS symptoms.
