Can pea protein formulas help Tube-Fed toddlers grow?
NCT ID NCT07231705
Summary
This study aims to see if two plant-based, pea protein formulas can support healthy growth and good digestion in children aged 1 to 2 years who get most of their nutrition from formula, often through a feeding tube. Researchers will follow 40 children for 24 weeks to measure their growth, body composition, nutrient levels, and gut health while they use the formulas. The goal is to provide a nutritional option that helps these children grow well and is easy for their bodies to handle.
