First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study compares two pain management methods for IUD insertion: a numbing cream plus pain pills versus a lidocaine injection plus pain pills. Researchers want to see which approach works better and is safer. The trial will include 66 people with a uterus, aged 18 to 45, who want an IUD for birth control.
