Summary

This study tests a new vaccine called rF1V-1018 to see if it is safe and triggers a strong immune response against pneumonic plague, a serious lung infection caused by Yersinia pestis bacteria. About 148 healthy adults aged 18 to 55 will receive the vaccine and be monitored for side effects and antibody levels. The goal is to find a way to prevent plague after exposure through the air.
