New vaccine aims to protect against deadly plague

Summary

This study is testing a new vaccine designed to prevent pneumonic plague, a severe lung infection caused by bacteria. Researchers will give the vaccine to about 148 healthy adults aged 18-55 to see how well their immune systems respond and to check for side effects. The goal is to find the safest and most effective dose and schedule for future use.
