Placental tissue tested as advanced bandage for serious burns
NCT ID NCT07489560
Summary
This study is testing a special wound dressing made from processed human placental tissue to see if it helps partial thickness burns heal faster and better than standard care. It will involve about 70 adults with specific types of thermal burns. Researchers will compare how quickly the skin regrows, pain levels, and scarring quality between the new graft and current treatments.
