Birth tissue bandage tested for stubborn diabetic wounds

Summary
This study is testing whether a special bandage made from donated human placental tissue can help heal diabetic foot ulcers better than standard wound care. Researchers will compare the new treatment, called Matrion, to conventional methods in 120 adults with long-lasting ulcers on their feet. The main goal is to see if more wounds fully close using the placental membrane.
