Scientists map how drugs reach unborn babies
NCT ID NCT04400084
Summary

Researchers will examine donated placentas after delivery to measure how different drugs transfer between mother and fetus. The goal is to gather crucial safety information about medications used during pregnancy, since pregnant women are rarely included in drug trials.
