Could donated placenta tissue be the key to healing stubborn wounds?

NCT ID NCT07375160

Summary

This study is looking back at past medical records to see if a treatment made from donated human placenta tissue helps heal hard-to-treat wounds. It will review data from about 300 people with chronic wounds like diabetic foot ulcers or pressure sores. The main goal is to see how quickly wounds closed after using this tissue product and to gather real-world evidence for insurance coverage.
