New study aims to unlock hidden dangers of placenta accreta
NCT ID NCT07452185
First seen Mar 15, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study observes 200 pregnant women with placenta accreta (a condition where the placenta grows too deeply into the uterus) to see how often it invades the cervix and whether a short cervix leads to early labor. Researchers will use extra ultrasound scans during routine care—no new drugs or treatments are tested. The goal is to help doctors predict complications and plan safer deliveries for mothers and babies.
