Summary
This study tested a new product called PKU GOLIKE, a slow-release amino acid mixture, to see if it could better control daily phenylalanine (Phe) levels in people with phenylketonuria (PKU) compared to standard care. The study enrolled 21 people aged 16 and older with PKU. The goal was to measure blood Phe levels throughout the day to see if PKU GOLIKE reduced fluctuations.
