Taste test for PKU kids: can new tablets make diet easier?

NCT ID NCT06694662

Summary

This study tested whether children and adults with PKU find a new protein substitute tablet easy to take and tolerate. Ten participants aged 3 and older tried the tablets for one week as part of their strict PKU diet. Researchers measured how well the tablets were accepted, if they caused stomach issues, and if participants could stick to taking them as prescribed.
