New heart device tested for quick fix of severe valve leak
NCT ID NCT07385625
Summary
This study is testing a new medical device called the 'Pivot Bridge' for people with a severe leak in their tricuspid heart valve. The device is temporarily implanted for up to a week to see if it safely reduces the leak and improves symptoms like swelling and shortness of breath better than medication alone. Researchers will compare each participant's condition before and after receiving the device.
