This trial compares two types of braces brackets — the self-ligating Pitts21 system and the conventional MBT system — for straightening crowded upper front teeth and improving the curve of the smile (smile arc). Thirty people aged 13 to 40 with mild to moderate crowding who do not need tooth extractions will be treated and followed for 6 months.
