New hope for frail elderly patients with rare blood cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether a daily oral medication called pirtobrutinib can help control mantle cell lymphoma in older adults who are too frail for standard chemotherapy. It will enroll 56 previously untreated patients aged 70+ who are considered unfit or frail. Participants will take the medication daily until their cancer progresses, they experience unacceptable side effects, or choose to stop.
