New exercise combo targets stubborn buttock and leg pain
NCT ID NCT07403045
Summary
This study tested two different exercise programs to help people with piriformis syndrome, a condition causing buttock and leg pain. Researchers worked with 56 sedentary adults aged 25-45 who had experienced pain for over a month. They compared standard strengthening exercises against those same exercises combined with a hands-on muscle release technique to see which better reduced pain and improved hip movement and daily function.
