First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests a new treatment for advanced stomach cancer that has spread to the lining of the abdomen. It compares a standard chemotherapy aerosol sprayed directly into the abdomen during a keyhole surgery (PIPAC) with a new virus-based aerosol (PIPAV) that may target cancer cells differently. The trial will enroll 30 adults aged 18-75 to see which approach is safer and more effective.
