Summary

This study tested a new treatment for stomach cancer that has spread to the lining of the abdomen. It combined standard IV chemotherapy with a procedure called PIPAC, which sprays chemotherapy directly into the abdomen as a mist. The goal was to see if this combination was practical and could shrink tumors. 37 people took part in this early-stage study.
