First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tested whether placing a temporary tooth (temporization) improves the pink esthetic score (gum appearance) after delayed dental implant placement with a connective tissue graft. Sixteen adults with thin gums and a missing tooth in the front upper jaw took part. The goal was to see if the temporary tooth helps the gum look more natural.
