Laser breakthrough could speed pilonidal cyst recovery

Summary
This study is testing a new type of laser (1940 nm) to treat pilonidal cysts, which are painful lumps near the tailbone. The goal is to see if this laser helps the wound heal faster and reduces the chance of the cyst coming back. About 30 adults who have had this laser surgery will be followed for up to 6 months.
