Hands-On help for back pain? study tests adding manipulation to pilates
NCT ID NCT07466368
Summary
This study tested if adding hands-on spinal manipulation to a Pilates exercise program works better than Pilates alone for easing non-specific back and neck pain. Forty-three adults with ongoing pain were split into two groups: one did Pilates, and the other did Pilates plus manipulation, both for eight sessions. Researchers measured changes in pain, flexibility, balance, and quality of life to see which approach helped more.
