Can exercise replace medication for pregnancy blood pressure?
NCT ID NCT06618521
Summary
This study tested whether two types of exercise—Pilates and circuit training—could help control high blood pressure in pregnant women. Researchers worked with 69 women who had gestational hypertension to see if these workouts could lower blood pressure and improve cholesterol levels. The goal was to provide evidence for safe, non-drug options to manage this common and potentially serious pregnancy complication.
