Summary

This study aimed to find out if Pilates is as good as aerobic exercise (like running) for improving heart and lung fitness, strength, and flexibility. Researchers compared four groups of 80 young women doing Pilates, aerobic training, both, or no exercise for 12 weeks. They measured fitness levels, flexibility, and muscle strength to see which workout method worked best.
