Breathing better with pilates? new study aims to ease lung disease symptoms

NCT ID NCT07411066

Summary

This study is testing if a Clinical Pilates exercise program can help people with interstitial lung disease (ILD) feel better. ILD is a chronic condition that makes breathing difficult and reduces energy. Researchers will compare a group doing supervised Pilates sessions to a group receiving standard care to see if Pilates improves walking ability, breathing symptoms, and overall quality of life.
