Summary
This study tested whether adding Clinical Pilates exercises to standard cardiac rehab could help patients after heart bypass surgery. It focused on reducing 'kinesiophobia'—a fear of movement that can slow recovery—and improving heart and lung function. The trial involved 36 stable patients who had elective bypass surgery and were already experiencing this specific fear of activity.
