First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a 20-week program combining Pilates with dual-task exercises (like walking while doing a mental task) can improve trunk strength, balance, and thinking in healthy adults aged 60 and older. About 67 participants will be randomly assigned to either the exercise group or a control group. The goal is to see if this low-cost, easy-to-follow program can reduce falls and help seniors stay independent.
