New Wound-Healing device tested against standard care
NCT ID NCT07398534
Summary
This study compares two approaches for healing foot ulcers and surgical wounds that have opened up. Researchers are testing whether a portable negative pressure device (PICO system) works better than professional cleaning and dressing changes alone. The trial includes 300 adults with non-infected wounds, checking if wounds close within 42 days without needing another surgery.
