NCT ID NCT07594704

First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at two different methods (one-needle vs two-needle) for placing a PICC line, a long-term IV used for treatments like chemotherapy. About 284 adults will be randomly assigned to one method to see which leads to fewer complications like bleeding, infection, or blood clots. The goal is to find the safest technique for patients needing this type of IV.
