Gentle touch for tiny patients: can therapy ease NICU stress?
NCT ID NCT07207161
Summary
This study looked at whether a single session of physiotherapy or infant massage could help premature babies in the hospital. Researchers compared these gentle therapies to see which one better reduced stress and pain, and improved sleep and oxygen levels. The goal was to find simple, evidence-based ways to support the health and comfort of these vulnerable infants.
