Summary

This pilot study tested whether one-on-one coaching from a fellow physician could reduce burnout symptoms in hospital-based doctors. Fifty-one doctors from Geisinger Clinic took part, with some receiving coaching right away and others after a delay. The study measured changes in emotional exhaustion and work-life balance using standard surveys.
