Summary

This study aims to see if physical therapy can reduce harmful inflammation and muscle loss in critically ill patients who develop severe muscle weakness. Researchers will compare a special bed cycling program to standard physical therapy in 24 ICU patients. The goal is to understand if early movement therapy can help control this debilitating complication and improve recovery.
