New hope for kids with incurable cancer: first trial of groundbreaking cell therapy begins
NCT ID NCT07007117
Summary
This is the first-ever study in people to test a new type of CAR-T cell therapy called PHOX2B PC-CAR T for children with advanced, high-risk neuroblastoma that has come back or not responded to other treatments. The main goal is to find a safe dose and see if the treatment can be reliably made. Researchers will also look for early signs that it might help control the cancer in these children, for whom there is currently no known cure.
