Can a simple photo speed up your knee surgery recovery?

NCT ID NCT07223359

Summary

This study tested if showing patients a photo of their knee's bending ability right after knee replacement surgery could help them recover faster. 59 adults having knee replacement were randomly assigned to either receive these photos or not. Researchers then checked if the photo group had better knee movement, needed less physical therapy, or felt better six weeks after surgery.
